Sound Biblical Teaching

If you're looking for some great content while you have more time at home, we hope you will meditate on the Word and go to the Scriptures more than ever. These resources have been helpful to many in our congregation and we trust they will help you as a guide and supplement as you study God's Word. If you want even more or something specific not listed, please do reach out to any of the elders!   • LIGONIER

    Originally the teaching ministry of R.C. Sproul, this is some of the most faithfully reliable content from a wide spectrum of contributors. If you want to know a good commentary on a particular book of the Bible, Ligonier has the best 5 for each book. There are a number of Q and A discussions. And the Teaching Serries are invaluable. Right now ALL of Ligonier's teaching series are available for FREE to stream or as an online class through June 30th. These are wonderful short videos and they even include study guides!

    The ministry of John Piper. There is a wealth of wonderful articles, sermons, podcasts, daily devotionals and lots more that you will be encouraged and edified by.

    What are the marks of a healthy church? 9 Marks goal is to equip church leaders and members with a biblical vision and practical resources for building healthy churches. Also, From Capitol Hill Baptist Church, where Mark Dever is the Pastor, check out these CORE SEMINARS which we have used in Sunday School and would make a great lesson for the individual or families

  • FOUNDERS MINISTRIES

    If you want to know what historic baptists like Charles Spurgeon or John Bunyan believed, this is a good place to turn. Founders is committed to the recovery of the gospel and the biblical reformation of local churches, believing that the biblical faith is inherently doctrinal. You may enjoy some of the Baptist catechisms for children or adults of any age.

  • BIBLE PROJECT

    These are brilliant videos to watch that highlight Biblical Theology, that is, how the narrative of Christ and redemption flows throughout the whole Bible in themes, types and shadows. This is perfect for children to understand the larger story at work when encountering Old Testament books, but is also really helpful for anyone to see the forest and not just the trees. And, really good animation! Be sure to check out Ezra-Nehemiah

    Previously called Children Desiring God, this is a fabulous website to use with children and one our church has often used for ciriculum. On the main page you will immediately find links for Family Devotionals, Bible memory verses (Fighter Verses), and more. What better use could we all make with some extra spare time than memorizing God's Word!

  • Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

    Many of our folks will be familiar with this seminary through its youth camp D3 our students have been attending for years, as well as where Al Mohler still presides. Maybe you want to start each day with a short briefing from Dr. Mohler, or watch seminary scholars give answers to some difficult questions, or browse many training tools for current and aspiring Bible teachers.

    Tim Challies has been the go-to blogger for many of us for over a decade and we have used many of his articles in our bulletin. His site is also known for the A La Carte section which daily links to some of the most informative Christian articles, meditations, and commentary. Tim is an elder at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church, which has been instrumental in expanding Gospel preaching and church-planting in Toronto and throughout Canada.
